Lightning Kids Cab- Rules for Riders

To ensure a safe and enjoyable ride in a Lightning Kids Cab vehicle, we ask that our transportation rules are followed at all times. Parents, please take a moment to remind your children about the importance of these guidelines. 

Safety is our top priority!

1. Seat Belts: All passengers must wear their seat belts at all times.

2. Seated Passengers: Passengers must remain seated while the vehicle is in motion. Please do not board or exit the vehicle until it has come to a complete stop and the driver has opened the door.

3. Driver Instructions: Passengers are required to obey the driver during pick-up, transport, and delivery. The driver may assign seating if necessary.

4. No Object Throwing: Throwing objects in or out of the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

5. Window Safety: Passengers must keep hands and heads inside the vehicle at all times. No hanging out of windows is allowed.

6. No Disturbances: To ensure everyone’s safety, passengers must not  create disturbances while the vehicle is in motion. It is crucial for the driver to remain focused.

7. Respect Property:  Passengers should respect the vehicle and the belongings of others. Destruction of property is not allowed.

8. Courteous  Behavior: All passengers are expected to be courteous. Inappropriate language or behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

9. No Eating: Eating is not permitted while being transported. 

10. Lost or Damaged Items: Lightning Kids Cab is not responsible for any missing or damaged items left on the vehicle.

Lightning Kids Cab- Policies

Pick-Up Procedures

To ensure timely transportation, please have your child ready at the designated pick-up time and location. The driver cannot wait more than a few minutes at the pick-up site until your child is accounted for.

Drop-Off Procedures

We will not leave your child until they are safely handed over to an adult or inside a secured location. If we are unable to drop off your child at the scheduled location due to being locked out, the absence of an adult, or unexpected changes in your child’s schedule, Lightning Kids Cab will reach out to a parent to arrange an alternative drop-off location. Please note that a $25 service charge will apply in these situations. Please discuss backup plans with your child ahead of time.

No Shows

For the safety of your child and to maintain the punctuality of our schedules, it is crucial that you inform us if your child will not be riding with us on any given day. This notification helps alleviate concerns regarding your child’s whereabouts and prevents unnecessary delays.

Payment Policy

To secure your child’s schedule, transportation must be prepaid in advance. Payments are due on Fridays for the following week. We accept Visa and MasterCard.
